Can't get an Internet browser, suspect a virus

When I start up my computer internet explorer will say can't find server unless i close out some processes, please help

Are you running a virus scanner? AVG Free is a good, free alternative to the commercial products.

Likewise with a spyware scanner: Spybot S&D can also immunise your system against some spyware, as well as stopping what's already there.

I would also suggest that you use Firefox, rather than IE.
