I wrote 2 days ago and still no reply, so I decided to follow the directions on the different steps. I downloaded everything including the SP1 and still no luck. Now I did the HijackThis so i guess I have to post it :tazz: I am not sure if im doing this right. I am getting another error message as well now stating

TouchEd Error:
Retrieval of "THotkey" failed
Error cod - 0x00031402, 0x00000002

Ever since that message, i am not able to scroll with my touch pad.......

Im not sure, but i HOPE you guys are able to view my previous message which was under the same topic...if not, please let me know becuase I went into detail in that one. Another thing, would it be smart for me to backup all my files and stick my recovery CD in if this doesnt get fixed or even if it does? Thank you very much!!!!
My Hijack Log doesnt shoe drwtsn32.exe as my running process though ;)
Here is my HijackThis log:

Oh Thank you SOOO much for replying! Well I followed the directions but when i went to safe mode, i didnt see 4 files/folders that i was supposed to delete. Either i couldnt view hidden files(which i dont know how to do) or they just werent found. If they were supposed to just come up, they didnt. In safe mode i was able to do everyhing on my desktop, but then i restarted the computer and Dr Watson is still there :tazz: My touch pad is still not working properly also. The weird thing is when i run HijackThis, Dr watson (drwtsn32.exe) isnt in the running processes, is it supposed to be? Heres my new LOG: Thanks

Run Hijack This and put a check in these boxes. What is the Mr. Smiley entry? If you don't know or don't need it, but a check mark next to it.

Please delete your temporary files. Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)
You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin

Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

reboot and post a new log.

* Please do not do anything with it yet.
2. Prepare AboutBuster for use:
* Download AboutBuster AboutBuster.
* Unzip the contents of AboutBuster.zip and an AboutBuster directory will be created.
* Navigate to the AboutBuster directory and double-click on AboutBuster.exe.
* Click "OK" at the prompt with instructions.
* Click "Update" and then "Check For Update" to begin the update process.
* If any updates exist please download them by clicking "Download Update".
* You should not run the program yet so click "Exit".
3. Prepare cwsserviceremove.reg for use:
* Download cwsserviceremove.zip. cwsserviceremove.zip
* Unzip the contents of cwsserviceremove.zip (cwsserviceremove.reg) to your desktop.
* Please do not do anything with it yet.

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:

1. Run CWShredder:
* Double-click on CWShredder.exe.
* Click "Fix ->" and click "OK" at the prompt.
* CWShredder will scan and clean your system of CWS files.

2. Remove the offending service:
* Double-click on cwsserviceremove.reg you downloaded earlier.
* When it asks you to merge the information to the registry click "Yes".
3. Run AboutBuster and save the logs:
* Browse to where you saved AboutBuster and run AboutBuster.exe.
* Click OK at the directions prompt.
* Click Start and then OK to allow AboutBuster to scan for Alternate Data Streams.
* Click Yes to allow it to shutdown explorer.exe.
* It will begin to your computer for malicious files. If it asks if you would like to do a second pass, allow it to do so.

4. Clean out temporary files:
* Start | Run | type cleanmgr | OK
* Let it scan your system for files to remove.
* Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.

* Please wait while the Housecall engine is updated.
* Select the drives to be scanned by placing a check in their respective boxes.
* Check the "Auto Clean" box.
* Click "SCAN" in order to begin scanning your system.
* Please be patient while Housecall scans your system for malicious files.
* If not auto-cleaned, remove anything it finds.
* Click "Close" to exit the Housecall scanner.

Thank you, I did all of the above. First of all, i wasnt able to "show hidden files" until i was in Safe Mode, i hope thats alright. The last check at HouseCall all infected files said "Non Cleanable" but i deleted them anyways except for one that said "Can not access, it is being used- the Msbg.exe Troj Agent".
I have attached the Hijack this log and the About Buster Log. I hope all this worked but if im trying to access My Computer on the desktop, Dr. Watson comes along and i have to keep doing Ctrl Alt Delete......thanks again

You have a nasty About:Blank infection. This fix requires several tools that need to be downloaded. Please download these now, we will run them later.

1) About:Buster - Download it and extract it to C:/aboutbuster.
2) CleanUp! - Download it and install it.
3) CWShredder 2.11 - Download it and save it to your desktop.
4) Ad-Aware - Download, install, and update.

Enable hidden files and folders: http://www.bleepingc...torial=62#winme

During the fix do NOT connect to the internet. Unless you can memorize these instructions, it would be a good idea to print them out.

Boot into safe mode:
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Run AboutBuster
-Click Start to begin the process
-Click OK on the Buster Report dialogue box to start the scan
AboutBuster scans the computer for malicious files and deletes them.
Save the report (copy and paste into Notepad and save as a .txt file) to post a copy for review.

Run CWShredder
-Next, click on the: ‘Fix’ button
-Follow the prompts, and press OK

Run CleanUp
-Make sure it is on Standard Mode
-Click the "CleanUp!" button

Run Ad-Aware
-Configure Ad-Aware for a full system scan
-Run it

Clean Up the left overs

Run HJT, close any open windows, and fix the following items (if they are still there):

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\ottmc.dll/sp.html#37049
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\Userinit.exe
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {6813A243-6455-01F2-5ABA-4D5390F9C114} - C:\WINDOWS\iphi.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [d3ed.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3ed.exe

O16 - DPF: {0246ECA8-996F-11D1-BE2F-00A0C9037DFE} (TDServer Control) - http://www.truedoc.c...ex/tdserver.cab
O16 - DPF: {B9A296D4-38AC-4566-8168-F7ACAF7D35E6} (Eyeball Video Session Control) - http://imlive.com/Ch...VideoContol.cab

Then delete the following files (if they exist):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3ed.exe

Reboot into normal mode (simply restart your computer as you normally would), and run the following free, online virus scans:

http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp
http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm
http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp

Then restart your computer one more time and post a new HJT log as well as the About:Buster log I asked you to save earlier.

You guys are awesome! Coach Wife, thank you sooooo much for your help. I did all that you asked from me, and it seems like Dr. Watson is gone, and i am able to open all files and folders now. When i rebooted for the last time and my desktop came up, now i got a message saying "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered a problem and needs to close" so i said okay. I dont know what that could be. Also, i still keep receiving the message stating..
TouchEd Error:
Retrieval of "THotkey" failed
Error cod - 0x00031402, 0x00000002

and ever since then im not able to scroll w/my mouse pad which started w/the Dr.Watson thing.

Last but not least what can i do or shouldnt i do inorder for this not to happen again. Could it have been me downloading BearShare(music downloading site)? Sorry for all the questions but i dont want this to happen again. Thank you again. Here are my logs. :tazz:
