I have a IBM aptiva 500Mhz that I use to run several info programs(2nd computer) and I would like to add more RAM it is limited to 512 would like to add 512 is there any way to increase the amount of RAM this will accept

I have already addded morer ram than crucial recommends but i would like to add more without fooling with the BIOS is this possible and if so how

I think its not a question of the bios but what the hardware will accept.
