Right i need urgent help!!

Logged on to my computer today and i was informed nortons unable to repair install, please remove and re-install. this happens everytime i log on, but nortons appears to be fine and working?? whats happening?? please help

forgot to say windows installer starts just before this message appears, and it has just appeared at a random moment whilst already logged on for a while!
