i have the dvd edition of call of duty 2 and when i put the disc in to play i get an error telling me to put the right disc in is there a crack to run this game without the disc.

If you actually own the game then update your DVD drives firmware from the maufacturers site.

yes i do own this game and paid good money for it and i dont see why after lnstalling this game and entering the key i have to put up with having to go through the no cd in drive agrivation seeing activision had no trouble releasing a patch to fix this very same problem for quake 4 which i also own legit.

Its probably not the game but your hardware at fault, CoD2 beleive it or not doesnt have all to many bugs, it just seems peoples hardware doesnt like it.
We have had a couple of people with similar problems so search the forums to try and find the threads.
