we just hooked up my son's dell dimension back up ( it was taken away for awhile), anyway when ever it comes on it reads "cannot display this video mode". none of the keyboards or mouse work. i don't know how to get rid of this. i went on dell's website and tried several of their forums suggestions only not to work.thanks

Boot the PC, keep tapping F8 until you get options, select safe mose, when you get the desktop, right click it, click properties, settings to see what the resolution and refresh rates are

none of the keyboards or mouse work.


I think that'll be hard for him to type F8...
