I am experiencing a weird problem that either just started today, or I haven't noticed it over the last couple years.

Whenever I go into a DOS prompt and then go into the EDIT program, once I exit the EDIT program, my DOS prompt closes. If I go into any other program in the DOS prompt and then exit that program, the program exits and then goes back to the DOS prompt like normal. But for some reason, exiting EDIT closes the DOS prompt.

Any help would be appreciated.
