Alright, so I've finally realized that my dual core system isn't running at high enough mhz to run all the games I used to be able to play on my old computer.

I know it's sometimes a software thing, cause I can play Quake 4 and King Kong just fine (as they recognize dual cores), but what about other games?

Is XP 64 going to provide me with any substantial improvement over Media Center?

No, not unless the program is designed to take advantage of dual core--and most games will not.

You will get moderate increases in Windows subsystem performance due to win64, but the old programs will not help
