Hiya,

I don't know that much about computers, but mine won't boot up...

We have Windows NT 4.0 Workstation at home, I was trying to format the C: so as I could put a clean copy of Windows 98 on... Anyway, to make a long story short I couldn't boot straight into MS-DOS.

I downloaded a DOS bootdisk (bootdisk.com) and when I put it in the floppy, i get the error message:

NTDLR is missing
Press any key to restart

I also downloaded a boot disk for Win98, but that doesn't work either, and it goes (something like)

NTDETECT 4.0....

then an error message comes up...

Please help?

Jo.
