My husband thought he downloaded a virus yesterday. i started to run AVG it found a virus but says the virus can not be healed because it is an old archieve folder( loacated on an old backup file from May 2004). When AVG finds the virus it says it has a buffer over load and kills the scan. i can not continue the scan to get to the rest of my computer. i also tried running ewido without any luck. How can i scan the rest of my computer or get rid of the embeded trojan horse that i located in the archieved file?
