Quark Express V6 for Windows PC Help!

We are trying to modify and save Quark Express V6 files created on MAC platform into Quark Express V6 Windows platform and then into a PDF format. We are told that this can be achieved by using Extensis Suitcase Windows 9.2 version, which we have tried without any success.

Does anybody have experience of working cross platforms (Quark Express files which can be worked on both MACs and Windows)?
