i have a similar problem, my wireless network and the router have been working fine the last two months. they are still setup the same. although i have no idea what happened but a few days ago my Netgear Router is no longer broadcasting i think, well the Wireless Icon is not apearing.

We were required to have the router to be connected to the computer via Ethernet as well, but we did not have any Ethernet.. plugs? anyways, our setup is something like this

PC --- USB Cable --- ADSL Modem ---- Ethernet Cable --- Wireless Router - Netgear WGR614

ok basicall the only plugs comin out of my router, is an ethernet cable coming from the internet socket of the router into the ethernet socket of my adsl modem, + the Powercord of course. We've had it setup like this for at least two months, yet alluva sudden not working but i have no idea whats changed.
