I like progress!!! :tazz:

If you are at the C:\ prompt, type A: and press "Enter".

Once you are back to the A:\ prompt, put the Win98 cd into the cd-rom drive and type COPY A:\WIN98\*.* C:\WIN98 (note the space between COPY and A:) and press "Enter".

Let me know how this goes...

Hmmmm...

Is the Win98 cd clean...no big scratches? Is it a retail or OEM (IBM, HP...) version?

Says Microsoft Win98 Second edition- has Product key
No scratches. Came in seal envelope - bought on Ebay from San Francisco

Ok...let's try something...

Put the Win98 cd in the drive and reboot...see if it will go past the Network error...

With the Win98 cd in the drive, type dir and press "Enter". Do you get the directory of the Win98 cd?
