Hello ;)

SpySweeper has detected SAHAGent on my computer. I've tried quarantining it, it's still there. I've tried quarantining and removing, guess what?? It's still there. I've looked all the way thru my HJT log and there's nothing there as far as I can see. (Although the item in red wasn't there before, not sure what it is but on the tutorial website I was on it said:-

*  F0, F1, F2, F3 - Autoloading programs from INI files

Example-

F0 - system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe
F1 - win.ini: run=hpfsched

Researching Items-

Programs that run at startup

Mainly old programs. see O4 - Autoloading programs from Registry for research

Special cases-

I've tried search and found nothing.

I then tried HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ShopAtHomeSelect
It wasn't there.

Could you tell me where the sneaky little thing is please :tazz:

Oh and if I don't want the item highighted in orange can I just fix it with Hijack this??

Here's my log

Your log is clear. If there was something it's been blocked. Try clearing your temp files. :tazz:

Hi Admin, ;)

I managed to fix it thanks. I uninstalled then reinstalled Spysweeper. It was going crazy, the mad thng. I removed SAHAGent and without doing another scan it was still there. I left it on it's own for a couple of days cos it was getting on my nerves, then I un / reinstalled and everything was OK. I had emptied my temp files already but that hadn't worked. It seems like it might have been Spysweeper.

If you've time could you tell me the following?

I don't want the item highighted in orange can I just fix it with Hijack this??

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NVMCTRAY.DLL,NvTaskbarInit
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [msnmsgr] "D:\Old C Drive\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe" /background
O4 - Startup: SpywareGuard.lnk = D:\Program Files\SpywareGuard\sgmain.exe

Also the item in red can I fix with hijack this??

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Window Title = Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by Freeserve
