hi,

how to run the 'memtest' without a floppy drive. i want to test the new ram module I have installed on my laptop. I have windows xp proff in my laptop. the 1 gb ram sodimm module is PC4200-533MHz.

Please advise.

i read some where that this is used only to test DDR version of RAM. the ram that i am using is the DDR2 version. can i still use the test? i got the iso file and have burned the cd. can anybody tell me exactly what to do after i insert the cd and start my machine? any commands I have to enter? pleasedo let me know if there is a user guideto it somewhere.
