Just installed a new slave drive as storage and I am unsure how to use it [western digital]The only way I seem to do anything with it is drive-to-drive data copy.Is this all there is to it and can I play files and burn off it[xvid etc...]

youll be pleased to know that i do the same thing with my wd hdd and yeah you should be able to take off objects to burn or to play in wmp BUT you must go into the slave drive and click on the object if you want to play in wmp or set the burn program to receive files from your slave
