Hi,

can someone please tell me how I can remove Norton from my system, it is causing me to much grief and I have heard this from others.

Can someone please recommend any other virus protection programs... I have heard AVG is good

You can remove it through add/remove programs in control panel, after the uninstall is complete i'd run something like CCleaner to clean up the registry. Symantec have actually supplied a removal tool for people having problems removing their inferior product. Have a look at this Symantec article for details.

I second Avast!
