Dr Waton Postmortem + windows explorer

About 2 weeks ago Windows performed an auto-update since when, whenever I right click a file in Windows Explorer the computer hangs/not responding. Eventually I get a message saying that Dr Watson Postmorthem Debugger has encounterd a problem and needs to close down etc...

This is a real pain as you can't just right a file to rename etc... I would be so grateful for any help.
