HELP, HELP! My machined was hi-jacked and was full of spyware.. Ran Spybot for removal.. still will not run properly. Ran Safe Mode and MSConfig with some help. Still takes extremely long time to start/boot up and cannot log on to internet. As such I can no longer get to virus check..

Ran HiJackThis in SAFE MODE and log is as follows:

Hi there,
Please set your system to show all files; see here for how to do this if you're unsure.
Please use task manager ti kill thfollowing processes

C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\sysupd.dll
c:\x.cab
wx.cab
c:\eied_s7.cab
C:\WINDOWS\system32\xpsp2fw.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\kjgqmadg5.exe
C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe (file missing)

close task manager

Close all programs down, leaving only HijackThis running.
Place a check against the following items:

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Reboot into Safe Mode: see here if you don't know how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\sysupd.dll
c:\x.cab
wx.cab
c:\eied_s7.cab
C:\WINDOWS\system32\xpsp2fw.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\kjgqmadg5.exe
C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe (file missing)

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log and we'll take another look.
