Alrite so my friend is having trouble with his computer its an E-machines and when he turns it on it doesn't load what it says Cable Signal Not Detected

so i figured that it would mean that the cable going from the tower to the monitor was the problem or the monitor so he took his tower and attached it with a different wire to the screen, no luck so he connected the tower with the same different wire to a different monitor still no luck

Any Ideas?

does his computer have onboard video? an expansion vidoe card (PCI or AGP)? or both?

also..could you please remove the 2 images from your signature...they're pretty big...at that size it's gonna make any thread that you start or post in..very hard to navigate
