i tried to find it but ocunldnt a lot of things start up when i log on and i want to turn them off from starting up. does anyone know where the folder is?

Hi tom_beach22!

Go to START-->RUN and type msconfig. In the new window that appears, click on the STARTUP tab. Here are listed the items for the program s that startup when your computer does. If you are unsure of what an item is, either reply to this post about it or use google and find out exactly what it is so you don't accidentally turn something off that causes your system to become unstable.
