I have some questions about the specs on LCD and HD display both monitor and television. What does 480p (Enhanced Definition)-- what does this mean?? What is the difference between the p and i when describing displays. What would be a good resolution and brightness when looking for one. I don't need the best, but I would like to know what would be average for displays and monitors.

Well p tells you the method that images are drawn on the screen, i is the other method of doing this, the bigger the number the better the number tells you the number of lines that the television displays. Lots of info on HD can be found here http://en.wikipedia....tion_television.
