NTVDM CPU Illegal Instruction

Greetings,

I was trying to install a program and I ecountered two different errors on is the "NTVDM CPU has encountered and illegal instruction CS:0530 IP:20e3 op:8e 7f 559280" and the other is "NTVDM CPU has encountered and illegal instruction CS:0530 IP:011f OP:c 5c5 02 05 a2

Can anyone help me?

what program..an old one?

That is the windows 16 bit virtual machine used for running old programs that are not winxp compatible....but it does not always work.

bare with me . . . when you say "what program?" what are you referring to. . .

the machine is an old one (1999 omniplex) with a pentium III

and it has MS windows 2000 installed, but I am not sure when it was installed.

The program I was attempting to install is a new program . . . it is a kids learning program that was published in 2004 or 5.
