Whenever I restart my computer, the wave volume automatically goes back down to 3/4 volume when I get back into Windows (XP Pro SP2). So basically it gets annoying when I play iTunes cause then its quiet and i always forget to go back into the master volume controls and change it back up. Does anyone know why it always resets itself?

this is likely a startup program doing this...and I would not be surprised if it is a program used to load AOL/netzero, or something else that impacts the modem

Test

start > run
msconfig
<enter>

go to START UP tab
Click DISABLE ALL

Set your volume to MAX

Shut volume control

reboot.

does bahvior recur?
