Hi all.

I have a problem when using ebay site.
without signing in If I carry out a search it finds the results of search, I can then click on a result and see the further details and the bidding screen all okay.
The problem is that if I sign in and carryout the same procedure, on clicking the item to see details I either get a file downloading box or a screen full of unrecognisable text.
If I then sign out all is okay.
This only happens on ebay.
I am using IE6 and Firefox and it is the same on both.
Any help most welcome.

HI,

Ebay has started to use dll's on their website for some reason, so you have to download them for Ebay to work when you're signed in. I personally think they could have come up with a better way to increase security, but hey, whatever floats their boat.

Thanks for info , cookies and all settings are fine.
Have just found out through a forum that the problem is due to a couple of isp servers as a lot of users are experiencing same fault and symtoms, so it appears it is not a problem with my pc.
Will have to wait for isp to sort it out.
