Thanks so much for helping me on this...

Followed all the advice I saw in earlier posts for this Dr Watson Postmortem Bugger, About:blank infection problem -- Adaware, CW Shredder, About Buster, Clean Up! -- but same problems persist. Can't access documents on desktop, computer freezees, etc. Please help -- here is log...

To use: right-click and select: Install (no need to restart)
Note: This will remove all entries in the "Trusted Zone" and "Ranges" also.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Thanks for your help. Followed the suggestions, even paid for some remote help desk support from a local company and still having the same problem! When I boot up, then try to click on anything on my desktop, including Start Menu, the computer freezes and I get the Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger not responding message. My Help Desk did change my browser to Modzilla Firefox and told me not to use IE anymore because of all the security holes. Here is my latest HJT log. Thanks so much for any help you can give. Eyes are losing it working in Safe mode.
