I don't really recall how this browser got onto my IE toobar. I have "thesearchmall.com" toolbar. I would like to get rid of it but I'm not really computer savvy so please help me please! I have tried to right click and close the toolbar but it is still there after I rebooted & everytime i've tried to open my IE. Also, I have googled as to how to remove this specific toolbar but it is not helping. i've tried the links www.searchmall.com/uninstall/exe as well the the link www.thesearchmall.com/faq.html but that link won't open and then I would have many IE windows would just pop up simulataneosly to the point where I have to restart my computer. I'm not sure what to do. I've researched and found something callled "hijack this" but it seems really complex so I haven't attempted bc I'm not that computer savvy myself. If anyone could please help, I'd really appreciate! Thanks!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .
That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
