Bin / cue file problem

i've got a bin file that is supposed to be world championship snooker 2004. But when i mount the .bin file using daemon tools it opens my epson scanning utilty program for my scanner / printer. Am i doing something wrong here? Somebody said its something to do with it associating with my scanner software. Any help appreciated as its been driving me mad.
