Hi, when playing games on my pc using my evga 7800gt 256mb pci-e the shadows always appear really bad graphics whereas the rest of it is great. Has anyone else experience this problem and if so does anyone have any ideas on how i could sort this. Im probably just being to fussy but thanks a lot

thanks for replying, you can notice it most on black and white 2, rome total war and need for speed most wanted. The shadows become really pixelated and awful graphics.

Have you turned the shadow detail up to maximum shadows are usually a seperate setting, also try updating your gfx drivers and reinstall direct x.

does anyone know of any programs i can use to check if my graphics card is working properly, or any software at all that might help me find out why its doing this? Ive attached a pic of the problem, its not to bad here but when moving the shadow looks horrible, it completely ruins the look of my beautiful porsche 911 turbo :tazz:
Thanks

yeah, it does seem to look sad, but hey, maybe it's the game. Try update the game it self
