What programs do stores like circuit city or computer repair shops use to remove viruses and adware? Do they run Norton corporate from like boot up? Because they guarantee that the bug will be gone.

Hi there drlovemoose, Geeks To Go is almost exactly like a computer store. All my time here at Geeks To Go, I have NEVER seen malware not removed completely. Geeks To Go guarantee's that the bug will also be gone.

I have seen stores use different approaches to clearing malware. Some use Hijackthis, others just do a simple format and maybe use ready made programs to do the job for them.

The diffrence between a store and GTG is a store you have to pay, GTG = FREE, a store you have to phisically take your computer in, GTG = Online (No mess no fuss)

I hope this helps a bit.
