Hi..
Bit of a problem with watching DVD's... they keep freezing for short periods. I think its something to do with the Video Accelerator (might be wrong) but im really not sure whats going on? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :tazz:

Did the Drive ever work before? Whats the Make/model? What DVD Playback Software are you running?

Does the software for it have all its current updates and patches. (Perhaps there is a patch for the playback software you are using).

The make of the DVD player is LG and I haven't been able to play DVD's properly through windows media player or PowerDVD. Both of these are updated.. Not sure what to do.. thank you for your quick response.

Have you checked if there are major scratches on the disk, often times, when i watch a dvd from my pc, and it lags or freezes it is because of the scratches on the disks

Hi there... no I've tried lots of DVD's...and they work fine on my other computer. I think the problem is my Video Accelerator isnt activated but i don't know how to do that.. thanks for your quick reply.
