For some reason I can no longer open jpeg or gif images with the Windows Picture and Fax viewer, the slide show function in the My Pictures folder has also stopped working. A real annoyance as now I can only view pictures in my browser.

I am running Windows XP Professional with all the updates. And Microsoft Office

Please Help!

Thanks in advance.

right click an image, choose OPEN WITH....is picture and fax viewer present?

Also, since you have office, have you considered Office Picture Manager, which is far superior (office 2003)

Thanks for the reply, when I right click and choose open with, Windows Picture and Fax does appear as an option, but nothing happens when I click on it. The default program to open JPEG and GIF images is this program but for some reason I cannot access it. I tried searching it using the windows search function but come up with a blank. I am running Office XP and I don't think Office Picture Manager is present in this earlier edition of Office.
