My other PC i built in May 2005 and had a few problems at first with it constantly freezing so i upgraded the bios and hay presto it worked, well sort of. It would not even boot properly if it had 1 gb of matched memory in at one time.

I have tried both memory modules one at a time and they both work really well yet when i put them in together, the power light (my light up power button) flashes.

My PC Spec is:

Gigabyte GA-K8VT800 (revision unknow*)
AMD64 3400+
200GB WD HDD
20GB WD HDD
1GB memory
AOpen DVD±R/RW
LG CD-R/RW
500 watt PS
ATI Radeon 9250 256MB

Can anyone help as i know need all my memory or should i just buy a new mb?
