redirecting a link

I have a external link to a site (ipb v2.1.4) that shows a file (.htm), if they turn off that link I want to still be able to show that link on my board. I saved the file as a .htm file, if they do turn off the link will I be able to upload this file to my board and do a redirect link to it?

file>save page as--- you can then upload the files to your server, i think that is what you are asking correct????
