in Windows xp i am unable to drag the scanners icon to the taskbar. any know how to do this?

i want to have a one click access to my scanner

Right click the taskbar, click toolbars, click quick launch and drag it to that part

I don't think you can drag things to the standard taskbar in XP

i have the quick launch running you cant drag the scanner icon for some reason

Did you take the tick off unlock the tasbars or will the scanner icon not go anywhere

Have you got a custom screensaver

It doesnt work regardless if the taskbar is locked or unlocked and I do not have a custom screen saver
