hi,

1. im having problems with my yahoo messenger. Last night i noticed that when i send a message
to someone i can no longer see their message. i know they sent a message but i dont see it.
a friend of mine advised me to unintall and reinstall it. i did but still nothing changed.

2. also, there is this spyware i think called spyfalcon that has entered my computer. i have uninstalled it
many times but it still keeps poppin up. can someone tell me how to kill it permanently? after unstalling
it in the add remove program, its still there in the c: drive. i try to delete it but it says i cant. its write protected or something.

3. can someone recommend the best antivirus, antispyware, antispam and firewall all in one that is free. zone alarm is quite good. norton and grisoft do a lousy job. mcafee cant do much against the newer viruses.

i hope someone can help cause these 3 are really bugging me.

you can email me at [email protected]

thanks guys :tazz:

Hi,
1)About yahoo messenge: do you have this problem when you start any new coversation "I mean @ the begining".. Or after a long conversation?? coz the window gets full so it starts to disable the new messages..

2)About spyfalcon: i didnt hear about it b4, but as a suggest try to fing its process name & stop it from the task manager, then try to delete it from C:/..

3)About antiviruses: personally i prefer MCafee, it work in an intellegant way. try it with a mcafee anti spy ware.. windows firewall is doing well..

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
