hi people

is there any way to swap drive letters between devices, for example switching the C: letter from the hard disk, to D: from the CD rom,

yes, but you cannot (should not) switch the system drive (typicallly c)

Switch drive letters is done through the computer management console, drive manager

right click MY COMPUTER, choose MANAGER, go to disk management, right click the drive, choose CHANGE DRIVER LETTER
