no, I don't. Its strange. I have to ask again, what do you think of Winsock Xp fix 1.2 I am afraid to do anything I am not sure of. I have deleted my temp files, cookies and cleared the history thru internet options many times. There very well could be another way to do so but I am not aware of anything else. THanks by the way, for your time and effort to help me, I am very appreaciative of you.

i know of a fix similar to this one on this forum. I would have told you about it however this is not the fix you need. The reason why i never told you about them is because they are usful to people that have very little service from Internet explorer. However you said that everything else works fine...right?

Everything else is working fine. I am able to view any other page on the net. I'm not sure if this is anything but once in awhile I get those errors program is not responding end now. I always thought that was normal to happen at times, but might as well mention it. :tazz:

Mcafee and microsoft spyware scan it every morning and yesterday I scanned it with ewido and Spybot. I also have Ad aware and didn't scan it with that. Do you think I should post a log?

i would say yes, because i'm stuck. And if you really getting lots of not responding tasks then yes. Also do you have the windows cd?

I'm not sure if i have a window cd. do you think i will have to install it again? thats kinda scary.
I was looking at my ad aware and I have some file in quaratine from dec. Do you think I should delete those
