Firefox stopped loading pages

James,

When you asked me if I used a router, I decided to take the router out of the system and connect my computer directly to the cable modem. And the router is the problem. Firefox now works as it usually does. Thanks for reminding me about the router. I didn't even think of that because my voip lines were working great connected to the same router. I connected my computer back up to the router but with one of the unused sockets. It works great now. Thank you, James, for your assistance.

k that seems about right, your connection is good as far as i can tell. Can you try and remove the router and connect the internet straight up to your computer. Maybe its a defective router.

hi,

is windows up to date?
are you set to receive window updates automatically, if not please do the following. go to
1 .start.
2 .control panel & click.
3 .security centre & double click.
4 .turn on automatic updates.
express- important that you (get high-priority updates) recommended.
custom- is optional have a look at additional software/hardware updates.
