hi,my mums pc hasbeen having a few problems connecting to the internet recently,although it is connecting fine now.she has been using aol since she bought the computer,but the last week one of her students has been using ie.she called me yesterday and found that ie had....sapi-redir.dll?prd=ie pver=msn home set as the home page and that ie wouldnt connect.we changed the settings back to google.i have done a bit of research on the net,but am a little confused as to what it maybe.is it a virus or maybe cool web search??????thanks for any help......spybot and adaware havnt picked up any spyware.thanks again.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .
That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
