hey
i have just got a new epson photo RX520 and also previously i had a hp psc 1610
the problem is that whenever i get round to installing the drivers to both printers the installation fails and tells me that "the specified port is unknown".
is there anything that could resolve this as the hp printer had worked previously but just stopped
thanks

For the Epson, are you installing with the anti virus off, the printer connected but switched off until set up prompts you to switch it on

Can you click start then right click my computer, click properties, hardware then device manager and scroll down to USB Controllers, click the + to look for yellow markings
