Okay, I was using Limewire to download music, and I downloaded a file that was "corrupt" or something? Eversince I've been getting annoying pop-ups! I tried to uninstall Limewire, but it just says that there was some sort of error, so I should re-install Limewire then try to remove it again. I keep trying to do that and I'm getting no where. I googled "Limewire problems" and came across a person on some forum who seemed like he was in a similar situation, and somebody had posted a site and said to run it, it was called "Hijack This" so I ran it, and now I don't know what to do.. lol. Can someone please help me?

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
