have you delete it from add and remove programs, and gone in to the hard drive and delete the aol file under "programs files". have you tryied to delete them in safe mode?

Thanks, I had forgotten about using safe mode. It worked.

aol is like a virus, but i still use it 
my mom doesent want to swich. so i am stuck with dialup and aol. what could be worst, the slowest conncetion with the natoriously invasive isp.
