Hi all,

I am having problems with my CD/DVD burner drive. The cd/dvd burner has always work correctly. I checked the IDE cables to make sure nothing was loose. The only problem is I cannot write to any dvd or cd. Is the dvd burner or motherboard knackered?

Thanks

what you are saying is that it is a combo drive (Burns CD's Plays DVD's) that it will not burn dvds and only CD's

When burning the DVD/CD does it give you any error messages?
What burning package to you use?
Have you tried reinstalling the burning package?
What are your system specs?
