If you meant that the icon for ZIP files is changed then you can fixed like this.
Open My Computer>Tools>Folder Options. On the File Types Tab Select ZIP. Click on advanced and then change icon. click on browse and select the file
zipfldr.dll in the C:\WINDOWS\System32\ folder. this is for the default icon fo ZIP files you can select different icon if you wish

could you get a screen shot of the icon that's being displayed? are you the only user on this computer? someone may have installed a different archiving program that has a different icon than the standard...winrar uses a different icon for zip files...as does picozip and any other zip program...
