Windows Media Player Problem - Audio distortion on playback.
When I rip music from a CD to the WMD library, I get severe audio (primarily bass) distortion when playing back from the WMP library. I'm also getting audio distortion when playing a CD directly from the device (D:\ drive). I can correct this audio distortion while playing from the device by switching from digital playback to analog playback but this doen's correct playback from the WMP library. I also lose most of the bass frequencies when playback from the device is in the analog mode. I'm assuming that all ripping, burning and playback should be done in the digital mode??? My OS is Windows XP and I recently downloaded the most recent version of WMD (V 10). I've experimented with every WMP setting I can think of -- to no avail.

PLEASE HELP!! Much appreciated.
