My sister just recently bought an older model IBM Thinkpad 760EL and it doesn't seem to have an internal dial up modem in it, what kind of modem does it use and how do we install it? I just posted this in another forum, the wrong one I think, whoops. Thanks
Misty

Welcome to G2G MistyF

If the laptop doesn't have a built in modem, then your best option is to purchase an PCMCIA modem. Most laptops will have two PCMCIA slots in them for such cards.
