I recently downloaded a spyware program to my computer (XPHome). By mistake, I sent it to my desktop. I meant to send it to my Program files. How do I now move it?

Thanks,

Hi tennistm...

If it is just the installation file that is on the desktop, it can be safely deleted or moved using cut and paste.

Is the application listed in the Start Menu? If it is, right click on it in the menu and choose "Properties" (make sure you choose the actual application icon), and see where it's located. Most applications default to Program Files when they install.

Thanks, I didn't know I could just delete it. That worked just fine.
