pc freezes continuously

My PC freezes continuously. On looking at the error log the following message appears
The device \Device\Harddisk1\D has a bad block

Other error messages are
THE com+event system detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 80070005 from line 44 of d:qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp

The same message was received with the number 800706BF

Any help much appreciated especially if I don t have to delete everything. Cheers.

Looks like the inial culprit is your hard drive. may be worth if you have enough time to make sure your backups are up to date. then run a complete scan and check disk on your drives and see if its maons about anything.
