MSN messenger fritzes and u have to manually minimize items. AVG Free Edition does not open. Avast Virus/Worm Cleaner Appl'n does not detect any infected files. I've run Avast 3 times. I've deleted MSN messenger as well.

I found a log which I attempted to follow:

When I clicked the MsnVirRem.exe link, I got the page doesn't exist thing. That step's in the second post from Flrman1.

I've already installed Hijack This onto my desktop. I didn't know what to do since I can't get the MsnVirRem.exe program.

I'm not the greatest with computers, I hope that's enough details to help you out.
